Saurabh and Nupur both were VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) University, Graduates. It was in 2015, they met for the first time when Saurabh came to recruit students from his company behalf to VIT University, Vellore. They both worked together in the same company for about a year and fell in love. Firstly, it was a boss and an employment relationship at the beginning which got converted to gf bf later. It was a difficult ride as they were hiding it from everyone in office but later on, when friends and colleagues got to know, it was a very exciting and most memorable time of their journey.
Saurabh proposed to Nupur but it did not go very well as she was not ready to be in a relationship at that time. But slowly being with him she realized her every decision revolves around him and he couldn’t live without him. It took her around 6 months to tell him that she loves him the most in the world. After they both agreed, it’s been 3.5 years that they were together and touch wood never had a major fight that could lead them to end it. They were so enjoying being around each other and live life together forever.
Mehendi – “Burst of Colors – Khush Rang Heena”
Add a little “Apno Rajasthan” touch to our wedding theme – The colors itself are a palette of passion. and we wanted to paint the venue in the happiest shades of love. Colorful birdhouses, puppets, and handicrafts bring in an authentic touch and traditional magic. Go for colorful folksy decor like low floor seating with cushions and bolsters for your Rajasthani theme wedding. Use lots of Bandhani printed drapes, large clay pots, vases, clay wind-chimes, wooden figurines and sculptures as a part of the wedding decoration.
Interesting story – A typical groom vs bride side competitions was the highlight of the show. They were supposed to guess the music and sing the song. Bride side won it coz cmon brides are show stealers.
Sangeet – “Kisi Disco Me Jaaye”
We always waned to look royal at the wedding and the hall of the palace had the exact same vibe. it was an elegant decor with white, silver crystal and powder blue theme which made our presence look royal and classy. The interesting thing that happened, saurabh’s surprise performance on “Khalibali” was a hit!!
Haldi + Holi – “Rang Barse Haldi”
We not only had a combined Haldi function, but we also had friends and family joining in to create it into an incredibly vibrant and funky Holi-Haldi party! There were flower petals, colors, color bombs and lots more to get the party going. SO. MUCH. FUN.
It was on the 17th and 18th of January at Indiana palace, kukas, Jaipur. It was so mesmerizing and breathtaking. They all moved into the destination resort for the wedding, the place has an amazing traditional but royal vibe and everyone at the hotel went beyond their way to make their special day one to remember for all their guests. Indiana palace has excellent food and everything was so tasty.
The most memorable moment for bride and groom:
When we saw each other for the first time during the wedding. It was for the mehndi function, I was coming down from the lift and he was waiting there to receive me. That moment we both just wanted to hug each other and gulp the reality that this is actually happening.
